GHAP’s teams are situated throughout sub-Saharan Africa and have extensive experience in identifying programmatic fraud and corruption. GHAP’s MAR Teams proactively identify the trade in falsified, substandard and diverted medicines and health products. GHAP’s teams are also well-suited to generate intelligence and address illicit behavior in other sectors. GHAP’s SCAR Teams are located in several locations in sub-Saharan Africa and rapidly deploy across the continent to address supply chain and medicine concerns. GHAP’s operational specialist personnel have conducted Technical Assistance and Capacity Building support to national regulatory and law enforcement authorities throughout sub-Saharan Africa, providing training and mentoring, helping to develop SOPs and supporting intelligence-led national enforcement operations in West, South and East Africa Regions.
